Welcome to the mill “Eendracht maakt macht”!

Feel welcome to enjoy our mill yard. A moment of peace in a characteristic environment. It costs nothing and you get a lot in return. You will find the entrance to the right of the mill.

The mill

The pride of Meterik is undoubtedly the mill “Eendracht Maakt Macht”. Feel free to walk in and be surprised by the beautiful symbiosis between wind, ancient technology and the miller. Experience how the mill comes to life as the blades turn and the stones grind the grain into flour.

Flour sale

At the rear of the mill is the possibility to buy flour. This flour is ground while you wait and is therefore always fresh every day. You can choose from several types. We also sell our now famous pancake mix.

Bakhuuske (baking barn)

As the name suggests, this is where our wood-fired baking oven is located. Walk in to see our enthusiastic club of bakers at work and to sniff the delicious smell of freshly baked bread.

Garden

In our garden behind the mill are a number of test fields with grains and some vegetables. To the left of the fields is a low-stem orchard and a berry garden. Fresh fruit and vegetables can be picked here in season. Think of sweet corn and beans in the fields, apples and cherries from the orchard or red currants and raspberries from the berry garden. However, there is much more to discover! So feel free to walk around the back and enjoy the peace and the goodies in our garden.

Barn

Give yourself a break during a walk or bike ride in our barn. Here is the opportunity to relax in a sheltered place, have a picnic and enjoy a beautiful view
